Job Overview

Mercor is seeking detail-oriented Quality Analysts to help maintain the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across various projects. This remote contract position is suitable for professionals with experience in quality assurance, quality control, data review, or similar roles.

Successful candidates will review work against established standards, identify errors, document inconsistencies, and provide actionable feedback to improve overall quality. They will also monitor recurring issues, track quality performance, and contribute to refining review procedures and evaluation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review completed work against defined quality standards, rubrics, and project guidelines.
• Identify errors, inconsistencies, omissions, and other quality issues.
• Document findings and provide clear, constructive feedback to relevant contributors and stakeholders.
• Track quality metrics and identify recurring problems or emerging trends.
• Recommend improvements to quality assurance processes, checklists, and evaluation criteria.
• Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team across different time zones.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency while adapting to evolving project requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related review-focused position.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify errors others may overlook.
• Excellent written communication and feedback skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing guidelines.
• Reliable internet access and a suitable workspace for focused work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data annotation, content review, or evaluation workflows.
• Experience working with remote or distributed teams.
• Background in a relevant technical, editorial, or analytical field.

Compensation and Work Schedule

The position offers $20–$50 per hour, depending on the project and applicable rate. Work is fully remote, with flexible scheduling. Engagements are project-based and may be extended, shortened, or concluded depending on business needs and performance. Payments are made weekly through Stripe or Wise for services rendered.
